Ardbeg 25 Year Old is a smoky single malt matured in ex-bourbon barrels, with layers of sweetness running through it.
On the nose it is typically described as cream, smoke, peppermint, toffee, fennel, pine resin, earthy bonfires and ripe bananas. The palate brings white pepper, sherbet lemons, candied apples, oranges and pears, alongside tar, carbolic soap, creamy toffee, aniseed, rich smoke and an antiseptic note.
