Ardbeg An Oa is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46.6% ABV and non-chill-filtered. It joined the Ultimate range.
Whiskies from several cask types, including Pedro Ximenez, virgin charred oak and ex-bourbon casks, spend time together in a purpose-built oak Gathering Vat. The result is smoky and rounded, with a smooth sweetness.
The notes describe Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed, wrapped in butterscotch, black pepper and clove.
