Ardbeg – Heavy Vapours (70cl, 46%)

Ardbeg Heavy Vapours is an Islay single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. During distillation the purifier normally catches the heaviest vapours, which is part of what gives Ardbeg a balanced taste rather than peat alone. For this batch the purifier was removed from the process, and the spirit was then matured in classic Ardbeg casks. The result is described as the most full-blown Ardbeg yet.
