Ardbeg Ten is a 10 year old Islay single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from very heavily peated malt and the soft water of Loch Uigeadail, then matured for ten years in large oak casks right beside the sea.
The colour is pale gold. Fresh fruit, peat smoke, sea air and cinnamon show on the nose. The palate adds aniseed, black pepper and a touch of citrus to the peat smoke and maritime notes. The finish is long, smoky and peppery.
