Ardbeg – Wee Beastie (70cl)

Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a five year old Islay single malt and a permanent expression in the distillery's Ultimate Range, sold in a 70cl bottle. It was made to be the rawest, smokiest Ardbeg, and it was matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. It is intensely smoky and is suggested for drinking neat or as the base of a smoky cocktail. The nose brings cracked black pepper, sappy pine resin and a sharp tang of smoke. On the palate there is chocolate, creosote and tar, with savoury meats, and the finish is long and salty.
