Ardnahoe 5 Year Old Inaugural Release is the first single malt Scotch whisky from Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, and is bottled without chill-filtration or added colouring.
Shortbread, baked apples and Islay peat smoke lead on the nose. The palate offers custard, ginger, lemon zest and baked apples, running into a long, smoky finish.
