Ardnahoe – Càraid Ìleach 100% PX Quarter Cask No. 2 of 2 (70cl, 50%)

This is Càraid Ìleach from Ardnahoe, an Islay single malt matured entirely in Pedro Ximenez sherry quarter casks. It is the second of a pair of releases, bottled in 2025 at 50% in a 70cl bottle, with 2613 bottles worldwide. Quarter casks hold only 50 litres and are rarely used for a full maturation. They are more often kept for single casks or a short finish, and the smaller size means the whisky has close contact with the wood. Ardnahoe was founded in 2018 by the Laing family on the east coast of Islay, near Port Askaig.
