Balvenie – 17 Year Old DoubleWood is a single malt whisky from Balvenie (Speyside). Aged 17 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl.
An elder sibling to the much-loved DoubleWood 12 Year Old, this expression is matured first in American oak barrels before being transferred to European oak sherry casks. Aged for a total of 17 years, this Speyside single malt was created by the Balvenie Malt Master, David C. Stewart MBE, in 2012.
