Bastille 1789 is a single malt whisky matured in Limousin oak casks. Those casks previously aged wines such as Sauternes and Burgundy, as well as sherry and a French spirit.
The Limousin oak is what gives the whisky its distinctive taste profile, setting it apart as a category of its own.
Its aromas are delicate and the overall profile is smooth.
