Bib & Tucker Small Batch Bourbon 6 Year Old (75cl, 46%)

A six year old small batch bourbon in a heavy embossed amber flask with a cork stopper. It is made at a Tennessee distillery from a high rye mashbill of 70% corn, 26% rye and 4% malted barley, and bottled at 46% (92 proof). The whiskey is double distilled, first in a column still and then in a copper pot still, and matured for a minimum of six years in new American white oak barrels with a number one char. Each small batch is hand numbered. The nose offers vanilla, caramel, sweet hay, toasted pecan and gentle oak, with sandalwood and baking spice. On the palate come butterscotch, pecan pie sweetness, cinnamon and a lift of rye spice, and the finish brings caramel, honey, vanilla custard and tobacco.
