Black Velvet Whisky

Black Velvet is a Canadian whisky, yellow amber in colour. The nose is of brown butter and roasted nuts. A brisk entry leads to a dryish body, light to medium in weight, with light caramel, nuts and reeds, along with hints of vanilla, coconut and rye spiciness. It is described as remarkably smooth. The finish fades with a dusty, peppery heat.
