Bowmore 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt from a distillery established in 1779. It is matured in oak for 12 years and has a warm amber colour.
On the nose, delicate floral notes and a touch of honey sit alongside the peat smoke of Islay. The palate brings sweet vanilla, ripe citrus and a little maritime salinity, with gentle smoke underneath.
Medium-bodied and silky, it finishes long and warming, with hints of dark chocolate and soft spice.
