Bruichladdich – 14 Year Old 2008-2023 First-fill Bourbon Barrel by Cut Your Wolf Loose (70cl, 62%)

This is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 by Cut Your Wolf Loose. It spent 14 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and was bottled at 62% in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 234 bottles. The whisky is unpeated, generous and fruit-driven, with the cask adding richness while the spirit keeps its natural brightness. The nose is creamy malt, citrus zest and tropical florals. The palate opens into brûléed peach and vanilla warmth.
