Bruichladdich – 14 Years Old Madeira Cask Finish

A 14 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in July 2012 and bottled by The Whisky Cellar in its Private Cellars Selection of single casks. After 14 years of maturation the whisky was given a finishing period in a single Madeira wine cask. Madeira is a fortified wine from the Portuguese island of the same name, known for a rich, nutty sweetness balanced by lively acidity, and the finish adds warmth and richness to Bruichladdich's fruity spirit. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
