Bruichladdich 18 Year Old is an unpeated Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, with a smaller portion influenced by wine casks.
The nose opens with golden honey, soft butterscotch and fresh citrus zest. On the palate come tropical fruits, mango, pineapple and banana, wrapped in toasted oak, with hints of vanilla, sweet malt and dried orange peel. The finish is long and smooth, with lingering sweetness, oak and gentle fruit.
