Bruichladdich – Islay Barley 2013 (70cl, 50%)

Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2013 is a limited single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. The barley comes from Islay and from neighbouring local farms. The whisky is unpeaty, with no smoky undertones. The colour is gold. The nose has bourbon vanilla, sweet honey, exotic fruit, citrus, oak and dark chocolate. On the palate come sweet melon, citrus fruit, creamy rice pudding, grassy notes and toffee. The finish is long and creamy, with salted caramel and oak.
