An 8 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, made from barley grown on Islay within 10 miles of the distillery. The vintage is 2013.
It matured in 75% first-fill bourbon barrels and 25% wine casks, and is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Fruit, rich vanilla and oak spice layer together on the nose, while the palate shows the distillery's yellow fruits and honey, balanced by subtle citrus and coastal minerality.
