Bruichladdich – Islay Barley (75cl, 50%)

Bruichladdich Islay Barley is an unpeated Islay single malt, bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is made entirely from barley grown on Islay, on farms within 11 miles of the distillery. It is non-chill filtered and has no added colouring. The spirit is trickle distilled, using much of the distillery's original Victorian-era equipment. The nose has earthy cereal, butterscotch, lemon zest and honeysuckle. The palate brings ripe pear, kiwi, melon, apricot, peach and coconut, with digestive biscuit and honey. The finish is medium to long and clean, with cut grass, sea salt and a fading echo of stone fruit.
