Bruichladdich – Micro Provenance 2007 17 Year Old Cask No.0710 (70cl)

This is a 17 year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich's Micro Provenance series, which shows how an individual cask shapes the spirit. It comes in a 70cl bottle as a limited edition. The whisky was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2024, having spent its whole time in a single American oak bourbon cask. It is bottled at full cask strength. The nose brings vanilla pod, toasted coconut, golden syrup, ripe stone fruit and a coastal breeze. The palate is spiced with cinnamon, clove and ginger, with a touch of citrus. The finish is long and dry, with creamy toffee and warming oak spice.
