Bruichladdich – Micro Provenance 2011 13 Year Old Cask No.0893 (70cl)

This is a 13 year old single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, from the limited Micro Provenance cask series. The series looks at how time, wood and environment shape the distillery's spirit, here the marine climate of the island. It was made with Appaloosa barley and matured in a second-fill fresh oak cask. It is non-chill filtered and free from artificial colouring. It is described as having toasted oak, creme brulee and dried fruit, with a subtle maritime salinity and a long, warming finish.
