Bruichladdich Micro-Provenance Single Cask #1188 is an unpeated single malt from the Rhinns of the Isle of Islay. This 13 year old was distilled in 2010 from unpeated Optic barley and has a bright straw colour.
The nose is bright with citrus zest, green orchard fruit and a touch of vanilla, with light floral notes. The palate is creamy and medium-bodied, with lemon, green apple and toasted oak spice moving to a delicate, airy sweetness.
The finish is medium-long and clean, with lingering fruit sweetness and a subtle maritime saltiness.
