Bruichladdich – Old Skool 10 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

Bruichladdich Old Skool is a 10 year old single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was created as a limited release to mark 25 years since the distillery reopened in 2001, and its retro label nods to Bruichladdich bottlings of the 1980s. The whisky is unpeated and distilled from 100% Islay-grown barley, with fourteen local farming partners contributing to this release. It was matured entirely on Islay, mainly in first-fill bourbon casks with a small parcel of first-fill Sauternes casks adding fruit richness. It is non-chill filtered and free of colouring.
