Bruichladdich – Organic Mid Coul Farms 2009 (70cl)

Bruichladdich Organic Mid Coul Farms 2009 is an unpeated single malt from Islay, distilled in 2009. It is made from organic Scottish barley grown at Mid Coul Farms near Inverness and is certified organic by the Biodynamic Association. It is unfiltered and uncoloured, with a pale straw-gold hue. The nose has toasted barley, lemon pith and smouldering hay, with honeyed sweetness and floral cereal notes. The palate is creamy and medium-bodied, with vanilla, citrus zest, sea salt and a little minerality. The finish is clean and bright, with citrus and light coastal freshness.
