Port Charlotte is the heavily peated spirit run at Bruichladdich on Islay, and this one was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2026 at 20 years old. It was matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.1%, in a 70cl bottle, with 203 bottles from the cask.
The spirit is described as dry and smoky with floral hints. After two decades the smoke is mellower, allowing vanilla and spice from the cask to come through, with honey and sweetness from the wood.
