The Classic Laddie is Bruichladdich's unpeated Islay single malt, bottled as a 10 year old at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled and matured on Islay. It is non-chill filtered and free of added colouring, and it is aimed at the floral, elegant house style of the distillery rather than the heavy peat often linked with Islay.
It is described as barley-forward, with sweet oak, ripe green fruits, brown sugar, citrus and a light maritime edge, fresh but rounded, with good texture.
