Bruichladdich – The Classic Laddie (70cl)

The Classic Laddie is an unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, sold in a 70cl bottle. It is made entirely on Islay from Scottish-grown barley. Each batch is built around the character of the barley used, and a wide variety of casks is chosen to bring out the distillery's elegant house style. The nose opens with barley sugar and fresh mint, followed by wildflowers such as daisy, buttercup, myrtle and cherry blossom, with a sea breeze behind them. On the palate are lemon drops, honey, tangerine zest and buttery Scottish tablet. The finish is clean, with lingering floral and citrus tones.
