The Classic Laddie is a Bruichladdich single malt bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, created by Jim McEwan to show the distillery's classic, unpeated style.
It is made with 100% Scottish barley and whisky matured in a variety of American oak casks.
The nose is sweet, with honeyed barley, boiled sweets and orange petals, along with sea air and a touch of sulphur. On the palate come red apples, white grapes, cinnamon and brown sugar, still softly coastal. The finish is mineral malt with toffee and more honey.
