An unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, made from 100% Scottish barley and matured in American oak. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
Where most Islay whiskies are known for heavy peat, this one takes the opposite route, leaving the barley and the oak to carry the flavour. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings barley sugar, wildflowers, fresh mint and a hint of sea air. On the palate there is ripe green fruit, oats and honey with a coastal minerality, and the finish is long, fresh and lightly saline.
