Bulleit Barrel Strength Batch No. 8

Bulleit Barrel Strength is a Kentucky bourbon made with the same high-rye mash bill as Bulleit Bourbon, but bottled straight from the barrel. The selected barrels were emptied and combined into a single batch, with no water added afterwards. It was aged and bottled at Stitzel-Weller in Louisville, and it is non-chill-filtered. The colour is a medium amber. The nose is gently spicy with sweet oak. The mid-palate is smooth, with maple, oak and nutmeg, and the finish is long, dry and satiny, with light toffee and deeper oak.
