Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is a single malt from the most northerly distillery on Islay, bottled at 46.3% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It is made from unpeated barley.
A quarter of the whisky matures in Spanish sherry casks and three quarters in American bourbon casks. It is bottled without colouring and without chill-filtration.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with flowers, dried fruit and maritime notes. The palate is soft and round with a creamy texture, sweet fruit, sherry, vanilla, caramel and nuts. The finish is rich and full.
