This Glen Scotia was distilled in 1999 and aged for nine years in a red wine hogshead. William Cadenhead in Campbeltown bottled it in 2008 at a cask strength of 59.5%, in a 70cl bottle.
It comes from a single cask, and only 310 bottles were released.
The character is classically maritime, with cereal and pine. A hint of smoke on the finish is shaped by the red wine cask.
