Canadian Club Canadian Whisky (175cl, 40%)

This is Canadian Club, a blended Canadian whisky first made in 1858, bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a large 1.75 litre bottle. It is blended and aged for a light, smooth character, and it became a staple of the highball. The style is mellow and approachable, and it works over ice as well as in cocktails. The palate is light, with grain, vanilla and a touch of oak spice, followed by a smooth, clean finish.
