Chicken Cock Double Oak is an 8-year-old whiskey that has been aged twice in American oak barrels, a process intended to draw more flavour from the wood.
It has a chestnut brown colour. The nose offers dark chocolate-covered berries, toasted coconut shavings and caramel coffee. On the palate come vanilla bean, wafer cone, steeped berries and warm baking spices, in a round, balanced body with creamy undertones and hints of crème brûlée and cinnamon flan.
