Crown Royal Aged 30 Years Extra Rare is a blended Canadian whisky, the longest aged blend the brand has released, bottled at 46% (92 proof). It comes in a crystal decanter with a Crown Royal bag and a gold collector's box.
It was released in late 2023 as a limited regional release. The blend is built around Canadian rye grain, distilled in Coffey stills and matured in used oak barrels.
The nose has ripe pear and orchard fruit with maple syrup, baking spice and toasted oak. The palate combines rye spice and licorice with vanilla, dried fruit and a creamy sweetness, on a velvety texture. The finish is exceptionally long and warming, closing on oak and cinnamon.
