Crown Royal Black is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 45% (90 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is a richer, higher strength expression than the standard Crown Royal.
The selected whiskies are matured in heavily charred oak barrels, which bring deeper oak influence and more intense flavour, with notes of caramel, vanilla and spice. The style is full bodied.
The nose is rich caramel, toasted oak, dark fruit and vanilla. On the palate come brown sugar, baking spice, charred oak and subtle dried fruit, and the finish is long, warm and slightly smoky, with lingering sweetness.
