This is an 11 year old Dailuaine bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie, who works from London. The whisky spent all eleven years in a refill hogshead, and 219 bottles were filled at 55.6% ABV.
The nose is soft and light, with mango, lychee and maraschino cherries, then kirsch and fragrant camomile. The palate is full and creamy, with sweet maraschino cherries, burnt almonds, juicy plums, apricots, crisp pears and fine oak. The finish is medium in length and creamy, leaving an impression of fruit salad.
