Dalmore Luminary No.3 is a limited-edition Highland single malt, made in collaboration between the architect Ben Dobbin and The Dalmore's whisky-making team. It is a 2025 release.
The whisky was matured for 17 years in ex-Bourbon casks, then finished in a combination of vintage calvados, sherry and red wine barriques.
The nose offers orchard fruits, Madagascan vanilla and cinnamon with a hint of rose water. The palate brings butterscotch, tarte tatin, baked red apples, dark cacao and red liquorice, with cardamom, Seville orange and green tea. The finish carries ripe blackberries, dried apricots, brioche and cassia bark.
