Dalmore – Constellation Collection 1979 33 Year Old (48.5%)

A 33 year old single malt from Dalmore, bottled at 48.5% ABV as part of the Constellation Collection. It was distilled on 27 January 1979. In the glass it is a shimmering honeyed gold. The nose is led by honey, peaches, nectarines and vanilla ice cream, followed by fresh apple, pear, apricot and lemongrass. The palate brings spicy pineapple, tropical fruit salad and caramel fudge, with lemon cake, frangipane, rose hip syrup and macaroons, then Bramley apples with peaches and cream, Turkish delight, spiced sherbet and kiwi.
