Dalmore – King Alexander III (70cl, 40%)

Dalmore King Alexander III is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in six types of cask: French wine barriques, Madeira drums, Jerez sherry butts, Sicilian Marsala barrels, Douro port pipes and Kentucky bourbon barrels. The casks were brought together to make a single rich, deep malt. It won silver in the Highland single malt no age statement category at the World Whiskies Awards 2014. The release commemorates the act of a Mackenzie clan ancestor who saved King Alexander in 1263.
