This is the Dalmore Vintage Collection 2009, a single malt matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and then enhanced with hand-selected Matusalem Sherry casks and Graham's 10 year old Tawny Port pipes. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings Manuka honey, dark plum, cracked black pepper and clove. On the palate come Morello cherries, dates, candied Seville orange, fresh figs and light cacao, ending on rich plum, ginger cake, roast chestnut and soft wood spice.
