David Nicholson Reserve is a bourbon bottled at 100 proof (50% vol). It arrives in a market where high-rye bourbon is a popular phrase, and its strength makes it a point of interest.
The character is built on balance, with neither too much spice nor an off-putting amount of oak. Vanilla is present in just the right measure, alongside a hint of char.
The finish is long and sweet.
