Dunphys Special Export
Cork Distilleries Company (now part of Irish Distillers Limited) created a light-bodied blend for American tastes in 1955 called "Original Irish The Very Best Imported Whiskey" which was renamed circa 1958 as "Dunphys Original Irish The Very Best Imported Whiskey"
This was originally destined for the US export market to cater to the popularity of Irish Coffee, but it was discontinued in the US in 1988.
