Eau Claire Ploughman's Single Malt Whisky

Ploughman's is a Canadian single malt from Eau Claire Distillery in Diamond Valley, Alberta, made from 100% Alberta malted barley. The distillery was founded in 2014 by David Farran, is the province's first craft distillery, and is housed in a former movie theatre. It harvests grain from local fields using traditional horse farming methods. The nose is caramel, vanilla and toasted oak with dried fruit and honey. The palate is smooth and full bodied, with malt sweetness, toffee and gentle spice balanced by subtle smoke. The finish is long and warm, with soft spice and oak.
