Garrison Brothers – Single Barrel Bourbon

Garrison Brothers Single Barrel is a bourbon bottled from individual barrels, so each release has a character of its own. It is dark copper in colour and leaves long legs in the glass. The nose is savoury and aromatic, with mahogany, mocha, burnt cinnamon stick, clove, nutmeg and a note of rubber. On the palate, dark chocolate and cacao nib come first, followed by tobacco, burnt pastry, dried orange, molasses, butterscotch, nutmeg and ginger. The finish is long, with tobacco slowly fading, a light touch of toffee and more nutmeg.
