This is a 10 year old unpeated single malt from Glen Scotia, one of the distilleries of Campbeltown. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in first fill bourbon casks. Glen Scotia has made both peated and unpeated malts over its history, and this one belongs with the unpeated.
The nose is fruity with apples and a fresh sea breeze. The palate has a creamy texture with brown sugar, orange marmalade and vanilla, plus a little pineapple. The finish is long and sweet, with ginger and cinnamon.
