A 14 year old single malt from the Glen Scotia distillery in Campbeltown, bottled by Cadenhead. It was matured in a sherry hogshead, which gave an outturn of 198 bottles.
The whisky is dark in colour and combines the salty, smoky character associated with Campbeltown with a clear sherry influence.
On the palate there is dried fruit, roasted notes and sherry sweetness, joined by a little salt and peat smoke. It moves into a long, warm finish.
