Glen Scotia 15 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 46% ABV. It spent 15 years maturing in bourbon casks.
The fruit and spice character typical of Glen Scotia is attributed to the use of traditional copper pot stills.
The nose has fruity sweetness, citrus and ginger, then apricot jam and finally fine oak. The palate is complex, with clear caramel and vanilla and something of butterscotch with dried fruit. The finish is of medium length, pleasant and dry.
