This is a 25 year old Glen Scotia single malt, bottled at 48.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American oak barrels and then married in first fill bourbon casks before bottling.
The nose has bracing maritime notes with hints of toasty vanillin oak. The palate brings spicy aromatic fruits, stewed apple and tangy orange peel, and the finish is long with lingering spice.
