A Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, then finished for twelve months in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose is sweet, with caramel, caramelised fruit, toffee and fudge, followed by apple and peach, charred bourbon notes and a dusty dryness. The palate is also sweet, with a tingling buzz and good weight in the middle, leading to a deep, dark finish.
