Founded in 1967 GlenAllachie distillery started by producing whisky for blends including in later years for Chivas Brothers. In 2017 the distillery was sold to Master Distillers Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and ex-Inver House Distillers MD Graham Stevenson who formed the GlenAllachie Distillers company and started bottling single malts which are well known for their fruity expressions. Upon opening this bottle the aromas of forest fruits and malt treacle will fill your nostrils with a touch of pastry as an afterthought, the palate is chestnuts, red berries, and apple tart with a long finish of chestnut, almonds forest fruit and tobacco.
